Graco iMonitor Digital Video Baby Monitor Review

As a Graco Ambassador, I am lucky enough to get lovely Graco products to test. This time I’ve been offered to try their Graco iMonitor Digital Video Baby Monitor. A year ago I thought I wouldn’t need a baby monitor any more, as my daughter is not a baby now, however… things changes when we decided to move the house.

My little girl loved her room and felt safe even when on her own, but moving to a new place with a new room to get used to seemed a little bit challenging for her. She needs to know that I can somehow be closer to her, and even in the other room, still be around for her, if needed.

That’s why the Graco iMonitor Digital Video Baby Monitor came in so handy! I loved it when I realised I would be able to not only listen to her (gently snoring) but also being able to look at her on the video screen – to make sure she doesn’t play with her toys when she needs to go to bed, for instance. It’s like a secret camera in her room, genius!

There is also a Vibration option in case I am busy in the kitchen but still need to “keep an eye” on her. And while she is feeling more secure, I am much more relaxed. Due to its 100% digital technology, I can enjoy the crystal clear digital

picture and sound. The 1.9-inch colour video screen has real-time digital zoom for a clear, up-close view. The design is excellent, very small and portable, and it drops into a charging cradle like a cordless phone, so nothing to plug in. And yes, the camera has night vision for a clear picture even in total darkness, which makes things even better.

It may sound a little bit costy, but actually the price is excellent for what you’d get for it. For me, there is no comparison with the previous baby monitor we used to have when my daughter was a baby, so I would highly recommend it to anyone, looking for a good, reliable and stylish decision.

Why We Like the Graco Contour Storage Travel Cot

I was looking for a simple quick and easy to use safe travel cot with a storage option. The moment I received the new Graco Contour Storage travel cot to test and review, I knew this one was just for us! It took me a moment to set it up – it was really quickly and easily using the umbrella system with folding buttons.

csI have to say that I needed a travel cot not just for travelling (when short of space). Yes, the Graco Contour Storage Cot is shorter (104cm) which would make it just perfect for when travelling in the spring and summer. But it’s also ideal when visiting friends for a day and overnight and my little girl would prefer to have her nap or a night-sleep in a comfortable, “her own territory” cot, so she feels save and “at home”. It’s great because it doesn’t take much space in the car when folded (it’s only 23cm x 23cm x 85cm).

I like the design with its rounded table and stylish grey colours shades. It’s got 2 wheels which makes it easy to move around. It’s quite safe, too with 7 feet for perfect stability.

The best thing of the Graco Contour storage travel cot is the included storage compartment, which means we can travel easily with minimum luggage on short or long journeys. With our old travel cot it was a bit tricky to find bedsheets to cover the mattress, but the mattress dimensions of the Graco Contour storage travel cot are 65 x 95cm, so it fits ideally a regular cot-bed mattress sheets.

If you need it for a baby, the extra benefits are also the included removable and folding changing table. Also it has a detachable control box for night light, music and vibrations – ideal for a perfect bedtime. And there is also a nice toy bar with toys to stimulate baby’s development.
As a basinette it’s suitable from birth to 3 months but as a bed it could be easily used until the child is 16kg, i.e. around 3 years old.

Thank you so much, Graco! – Nika already feels nice and comfortable in the travel cot when we stayed overnight with some friends of us last weekend, and I can’t wait to use it ever more often during our family holidays!
