BPA (Bisphenol-A) may act as an endocrine disruptor and cause developmental and neurological problems in babies and young children during the critical stages of their development, recent research suggests. This was one of the main topics discussed on yesterday’s breakfast media briefing, hosted by BornFreeTM and presented by U.S. scientist Dr. Alan Greene and Ron Vigdor, President of BornFree USA.

There are many researches which have proven that chemicals such as BPA, PVC and Phthlates can be harmful to the health of children. It was scary for me to read in the press that these chemicals have been proven to be absorbed into the body, contributing to a rise in the number of people suffering from cancer, asthma and infertility. 
As a mother of 2-year old girl, I’ve been quite concerned about it, and have done lots of search to find safe toxic free products. For example, BPA (bisphenol-A) – a chemicals used in plastic bottles – has been associated with a number of health problems such as breast and prostrate cancer, diabetes, obesity, heart disease, hormone disruption and neural and behavioural effects in infants and children.
